Material Manager

The Material Manager is responsible for parts control / management, planning, reporting, and logistics focusing on the mitigation of outage delays. As the sole point of contact will utilize specialized software, programs and databases to ensure success of assignment and customer satisfaction. Must adhere to company established policies, procedures, standards and overall safety / quality at the job site to achieve overall productivity necessary for successful project completion. Responsible for administrative functions as required by company and customer including use of computers and software.

Minimum Requirements:

The requirements below are mandatory for this position to successfully perform the job:

  • Possess a minimum of high school diploma.

  • Subject matter expert on project assigned.

  • Maintains a valid driver’s license, passport (for global Material Managers), and ability to travel.

  • Strong mechanical and technical skills.

  • Progression Chart achieved based on position and / or craft type when applicable.

  • Trained on the software, programs, and databases as mentioned.

  • Meets any / all site and customer specific requirements.
